Betterware migrates to gravure

Betterware has awarded AccessPlus a two-year print management
contract worth upwards of £5 million. Colin Passmore,
chairman of the Catalogues and Publications Division at
AccessPlus, explained, “The contract covers the print
production requirements for Betterware’s home shopping catalogue.
With eight editions a year, at an average 96 pages plus cover, as
well as being an extremely high volume job, it was critical that
Betterware’s print management partner had extensive experience
and capabilities in the long-run print market.” He adds
that following a recommendation, Betterware has decided to move
print production from litho to gravure as it is a “more
appropriate printing method from both a cost and a paper stock
compatibility perspective.”
