Carlyle to sell off Graze

Healthy snacks business Graze is rumoured to be offered for sale in 2018 by its private equity investor Carlyle which holds a majority stake. This follows the investment firm’s sale of Holland & Barrett for £1.8 billion.

Graze was founded by Lovefilm co-founder Graham Bosher in 2008, initially to sell delivered snack foods direct to consumers on a subscription basis. More recently it has expanded distribution via retail chains like WH Smith and Sainsbury’s in the UK and in the USA where its products are stocked in more than 7000 stores.
