Swedish home hardware retail business Clas Ohlson has said that it will be closing its loss-making stores in the UK and Germany. The business generates just three per cent of its sales outside its heartland – Finland, Norway and Sweden. CEO Lotta Lyra said: “After 10 years, the business in the UK is continuing to incur significant losses despite measures in recent years to optimise the store network.”
