Kiddicare.com Ltd has been acquired by “non-core” investment specialist Endless LLP following weeks of speculation. Kiddicare is a multichannel retailer specialising in nursery supplies and merchandise for children and young families. It was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Peterborough, has 11 stores as well as online sales. Sales to February 2014 were c £80 million and the Endless team’s Garry Wilson commented “Kiddicare has a history as a trusted brand in the children’s market. We will be working hard with management to grow the business over the long-term.”
It is rumoured that Endless will seek to close stores in order to refocus on developing the online business.
