Feefo launches new plug-in for Shopify

Feefo has added a new plug-in which businesses can install free. The plug-in is currently available on Shopify and is being developed for Magento, Bigcommerce, Volusion and more.

With recent research showing that 63 per cent of customers are more likely to make a purchase from a site which features user reviews, there is a growing demand for businesses to gather reviews and listen to what their customers are saying. Worryingly, research also shows that up to 25 per cent of reviews are fake, and while this trend is troublesome to both businesses and customers alike, there is cause for hope too.

As a closed-feedback platform, reviews and ratings from Feefo can be trusted, as they are only collected from genuine customers. Those customers who have made a purchase or transaction are invited to leave a review, putting Feefo at the forefront of establishing trust. The new Feefo eCommerce Plug-in for Shopify is the first in a line of industry-leading plug-in solutions and will allow all businesses, regardless of their size, to begin collecting purchase-verified reviews immediately – and is entirely free.

The free version allows businesses to begin collecting feedback immediately, with 50 feedback request e-mails per-month and the ability to upload historical sales data. Also included are integration links to a personal business reviews page and access to Google Seller Ratings. As an additional bonus, the full Premium Feefo suite is available for the first thirty days: This includes up to 150 feedback requests, up-to-the-second analytics and reporting as well as photo and video reviews, enabling businesses to respond to customers in real-time, see data right down to the product level, and produce custom reports across every level of operations.

During or after the first 30 days, businesses can choose to continue with the free package – or to upgrade to the level of feedback requests and features that best suit them.
