Isabella Oliver to launch nonmaternity range, extend international reach

In a move away from its core product offering, Isabella Oliver
will launch a nonmaternity clothing range called 365 in February
2009. As Catalogue/e-business went to press Isabella Oliver was
still “in the process of refining our collection and
business proposition,” according to a spokesperson, though
the apparel is expected to feature the brand’s signature wrapping
and ruching.

The launch follows the company’s July expansion into the Canadian
market with a dedicated website and print catalogue. Isabella
Oliver already had a US site and catalogue in addition to its UK
business. A spokesperson said that the Canadian venture is
exceeding expectations. Isabella Oliver is also planning to debut
a website and catalogue for France next month.

Isabella Oliver fulfils all orders from its UK headquarters but
has set up local return centres to better service its overseas
customers. Further developments at the company include a planned
overhaul of the UK site that will incorporate more editorial
tips, images and an “enhanced online magazine”
featuring video and customer reviews.
