John Lewis creates customer experience role

John Lewis has extended the remit of its communications head with the creation of the new role of customer experience director. Peter Cross who joined the retailer in 2013 will now be responsible for communications and brand experience together with sustainability, responsible sourcing, customer experience and insight. He will oversee customer events, visual merchandising and the full customer experience reporting to Craig Inglis who is customer director.
