Vista Equity partners is to acquire Marketlive Inc and Shopatron which will work together to refine and market a powerful omni-channel commerce platform. The US based businesses will continue to operate a UK subsidiary via Shopatron’s Swindon based offices, headed by John Pincott.
MarketLive was founded in 1995 and is an eCommerce technology specialist. Shopatron is a SaaS platfrm for distributed order management used to create omnichannel fulfilment models and is used by over 1000 retailers and brands.
Vista Equity Partners is a US based investment firm which invests in software, data and technology based organisations.
