Movers and shakers–a roundup of June’s appointment news

John Fothergill and David Carey
have been promoted to joint managing directors of gardening
business Mr Fothergill’s Seeds. Their appointment comes following
the retirement of their respective fathers Jeff
Fothergill and Brian Carey who founded
the company in 1978.

Bobby Shah has left the Holding Company, where he was
eCommerce and marketing manager. He’s now working at digital
marketing firm Pomegranate Group.

Gifts and hampers cataloguer Virginia Hayward has appointed
Katrina Newey as business development manager.
She was previously at Duchy Originals, the organic-food brand
founded by HRH The Prince of Wales.

Aurora Fashions, which operates apparel brands Coast, Karen
Millen, Oasis, and Warehouse, has appointed former ASOS.com
marketing boss Hash Ladha to the newly created
role of group multichannel director.

Kristine Kirby, home shopping director at
apparel retailer/cataloguer Fat Face, has left the business.
Dan Miles, most recently at Puma, joins as
eCommerce and communications director.
