To cut costs, John Lewis will replace its
in-store call centres with two large contact centres, in Glasgow
and either Manchester or Newcastle, next year,
The Guardian
reports.

Amazon UK chief executive Brian McBride is

RM has established a joint venture based in
Dubai called RM MENASA to service the Middle East, North Africa
and South Asia.

Footwear retailer Schuh, which says it is
launching a revamped website next month, announced that in the
year to March sales rose by £16 million to £135 million
and earnings were up by 21 per cent to £14.3 million, reports
the BBC.
