Positive quarter for Ted Baker

Ted Baker has posted an increase in its sales for the 28 weeks to 11th August to £306 million. This represented a 3.5 per cent lift in overall group sales, with retail in the UK, USA and Europe generating £220.1 million. During the period the business had opened two new UK stores together with one in Spain, three across France and Germany, plus concessions in department stores in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Ray Kelvin, CEO said: “Ted Baker has continued to develop and expand as a global lifestyle brand across its markets and distribution channels despite challenging external trading conditions. This continued growth is testament to the strength of the Ted Baker brand, the design and quality of our collections as well as the dedication and talent of our teams.”
