Shapin exits Long Tall Sally

Andrew Shapin who has held the role of CEO at Long Tall Sally for twelve years has stepped down. He also recently relinquished the chairman role at The Cotswold Company and is now taking time out whilst considering his next move. Asked if retirement was on the cards he was keen to stress that he will be making a return to the sector in an NED capacity when the time is right.

Long Tall Sally specialises in fashion for taller women and was acquired from Amery Capital by German Group Tristyle Mode in 2016. Active in several countries including the USA, The Netherlands, Germany and the UK, Long Tall Sally had operated a chain of stores in addition to marketing via catalogues and online. It closed its store chain to fully focus on its digital offering.  Shapin’s role will be assumed by a director from its German parent company.
