Superdry and Jack Wills in copyright row

Law firms are set to pocket significant sums as Superdry seeks an injunction against Jack Wills for alleged copying of one of its puffer jacket designs. Superdry’s claim is that its former head of international business development Greg Roberts had taken confidential information to Jack Wills when he left to join the firm in November. A Jack Wills spokesperson retorted saying that Jack Wills is for cool young people whereas Superdry is for ‘dads at festivals’; ie: a very different market segment most unlikely to want to wear product designed for their parents.
