Superdry to cut HQ jobs

Superdry which has suffered falling sales has informed staff that it is seeking to re-organise some departments and that there will potentially be some redundancies involved. Reports have stated that up to 200 roles will go, primarily head office based, as the business tries to reduce overheads by around £20 million. Consultations are understood to be in process.

The news came as Superdry’s largest shareholder Julian Dunkerton stepped up his demands to return to the board of the business he founded.
