Having sold Blinkbox Music to Guvera, an Australian business, and then sold Blinkbox Moves to TalkTalk, Tesco is set to close Blinkbox Books after talks with a potential buyer, Waterstones, did not result in a sale. It is understood that there could be 60 job losses associated with the closure which forms part of the rationalisation underway at the beleaguered retailer.
