The Body Shop posts stronger quarter

The Body Shop has posted a rise in sales and profits achieved in its third quarter, with particularly good results from its UK activities. Now owned by Natura&Co, the business enjoyed an overall 1.1 per cent rise in net revenue to 935.7 million reals (c£173.9 million), with UK like-for-likes up by 3.1 per cent.

Brazilian parent Natura&Co is also now set to complete on its acquisition of Avon early in 2020, having won shareholder approval for the move.
