Watt Brothers in administration

Watt Brothers in administration

Scottish retailer Watt Brothers have entered administration prompting the immediate closure of 10 of its 11 stores. Only its Glasgow flagship store continues to trade in order to clear stock. The business had achieved sales of £214 million last year but mounting losses had made it impossible to continue.

Blair Nimmo and Alistair McAlinden of KPMG are the joint administrators seeking a buyer.
