Arco to accelerate digital growth as it relocates to new HQ

Arco is set to move this year into new head offices in Hull’s fruit market. The £16m headquarters will enable the business to press buttons on its planned IT systems upgrade and it has appointed Ensono to manage its migration to Microsoft Azure.

The safety equipment specialist which supplies businesses and institutions is planning to grow its annual revenues to £500m.
Richard Martin, digital director, Arco said; “arco’s migration to Azure, prompted by a change of headquarters, enables us to stay ahead of the industry’s ever-evolving needs and opens us up to new ways of working. We were impressed with Ensono’s all-round capabilities, meticulous planning and attention to detail, which convinced us they were the right partner for us.”

“Our goal is to evolve into an end-to-end safety business, offering services ranging from consulting on safety requirements to the sale and delivery of all necessary safety equipment, and this digital transformation really helps accelerate these growth plans.”

Arco, which has annual sales of £295 million, reaches its customers via its extensive product catalogue, interactive website and national spread of trade counter premises.
