Artigiano is moving its stock and distribution centre

Apparel cataloguer Artigiano is moving its stock and
distribution centre processes out of the Isle of Wight and into parent company
Scotts’ main site in Wiltshire. The move sees 35 staff at risk of redundancy,
including 10 full-time employees. All staff have been offered the option of
relocating to Wiltshire. Artigiano has also confirmed that it is creating jobs
on the island, due to the relocation of its call centre from its current site
in Cowes to another office. Staff are invited to apply for a further 12
permanent positions with a view to expanding the department so that it can take
not only Artigiano-related calls, but also handle enquiries for the group’s
other operations.
