Furniture retailer DFS has warned that redundancies in its Dwell and Sofa Workshop stores may prove necessary. The business says it has lost more than £200m in sales during the lockdown period. It had furloughed 5000 employees.
Sales are however looking considerably better since it re-opened stores in May.
