Halfords names digital director

Halfords has confirmed the appointment of Emma Mead as its new digital director. Mead started in her new role at the beginning of this month, joining from Holland & Barrett where she held the position of group omnichannel director. Halfords is poised to replatform its website from IBM to Salesforce Commerce Cloud with the support of Astound Commerce in a move to bring together its Halfords retail and Autocentres operations onto a single platform.

Halfords incumbent digital director Matthew Gratze will stay with the business until the end of September prior to moving on.
