Hobbycraft enjoys strong lockdown sales

Hobbycraft has posted annual sales to February 16th of £193.6 million which was an increase of 8.9 per cent. eCommerce sales had grown by 19 per cent during the period and the business had opened five new stores.

The craft product specialist enjoyed even stronger demand during lockdown as parents sought products to keep their children occupied. Online sales rose by 200 per cent on a like-for-like basis with its Zoom based demonstrations attracting 15 million customers.
