Moonpig lands Kristof Fahy as new CMO

Moonpig, the online personalised cards, gifting and flowers retailer has announced the appointment of Kristof Fahy to the role of chief marketing officer. He joins on the back of Moonpig doubling its growth rate in the past 12 months while gearing up for another successful Christmas peak. Fahy most recently he served as interim CMO at Checkatrade; as chief customer officer at Hostelworld, and chief customer officer for Ladbrokes/Coral. Commenting on Kristof’s appointment, Nickyl Raithatha, CEO of Moonpig Group said: “Kristof brings over 25 years of experience creating and implementing successful commercial, digital, marketing and brand strategies and he will be a huge asset for our new leadership team. He is also a great cultural fit for the brand and I am very much looking forward to working with him.”

This latest appointment follows some recent high-profile changes in the Moonpig leadership team. Kate Swann – former WHSmith and SSP CEO – had joined as Chairman, while Nickyl Raithatha was promoted to CEO of Moonpig Group in June.
