Lusso Stone implements Visualsoft platform

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of luxury bathroom products, Lusso Stone, has seen exponential growth, with revenue up 90 per cent year-on-year, through its partnership with eCommerce specialist, Visualsoft.

Since 2014, Lusso Stone has been at the forefront of innovative bathroom design, renowned for its freestanding stone baths and basins. When chief executive, Wayne Spriggs, continually struggled to find high-end, luxurious bathroom products at a reasonable price, Lusso Stone was born. Its signature stone baths, basins and bathroom hardware can now be found in high-end resorts around the world, including Claridges of London, Sugar Beach Resort in St Lucia and Finn Lough Resort in Northern Ireland. However, as a start-up, Lusso Stone knew it needed a robust and scalable platform, with features to allow it to grow. Working with Visualsoft since its inception provided the expertise it needed to start its digital journey.

Having enjoyed rapid growth, furthered by the pandemic over the last 12 months, and as a small team in need of further support, the retailer upgraded to Visualsoft’s Enterprise level service in March 2021. With dedicated stakeholders across Visualsoft departments, including a team of experienced eCommerce strategists, Lusso Stone now has full clarity of website functionality updates, recommended areas of development, road map features, and a professional team managing the timely release of the brand’s new multi-fascia international websites.

Central to the creative process was producing sites that are functional, replicate the retailer’s luxury brand and product range, whilst encompassing Lusso Stone’s brand values. As well as improving site navigation, the Visualsoft platform enables a smooth process for customers when downloading user manuals, technical materials and finding information via blogs on the site – making it an all encompassing efficient process for the customer.

Mike Manders, managing director of Lusso Stone, commented: “The business has grown exponentially, since inception, and has surprised all involved. The growth of the business and awards and accolades it has achieved to date are incredible, which is down to lots of contributing factors. One of them, undoubtedly, is the website performance and support of the team behind that. The Visualsoft team’s unquestionable professionalism, attention to detail and can-do attitude are traits that myself and the CEO have ingrained in our own DNA and business, and it’s wonderful to see such similar traits in one of our partners too.”

“From working with Visualsoft we’ve learnt that, from an eCommerce perspective, anything is achievable. However, not all requirements can be done overnight, and from time to time, bespoke work is required, which is why we’ve upgraded to the Enterprise service. Visualsoft has expertise in all departments, and it’s this reassurance, all encompassing service and back office capabilities that really separates them from any other platform provider.”

Lusso Stone plans to build multi-fascia international websites, not only for its original brand Lusso Stone but for Lusso Pietra and Lusso Deco, launching this year. This will enable the luxury retailer to diversify into other sectors including homeware and flooring. Internationally, the group plans to launch a US site, along with a US logistics facility, as well as sites for Spain, Denmark, France and Iceland. The retailer also has plans to open a flagship central London showroom to showcase the extensive range of products from the Lusso Group.

Dean Benson, CEO at Visualsoft, said: “We’re proud to have helped one of the fastest growing luxury brands achieve ongoing success in their offering by providing eCommerce sites that will enable them to not only reach their business goals but exceed them. We look forward to continuing our work with the team at Lusso Stone and supporting them on their digital journey.”
