Primark prepares to open UK stores

Primark has deployed staff to commence with preparations to re-open some of its UK stores. The fast fashion giant has already re-opened five stores in Austria and a further twenty in The Netherlands where it has experienced lower footfall but considerably larger average sales per customer. It will open stores in Belgium and Italy next. Fitting rooms will remain closed at all stores, lift access is limited to one customer at a time, and all stores are being fitted with safety screens. In addition, Primark is taking on extra security personnel to ensure that new rules are observed, specifically with respect to the total number of customers able to be in each store at any one time.
