Seraphine posts strong year

Maternity wear specialist Seraphine which has four UK stores, as well as a further five overseas, has seen its sales rise by 26 per cent to £22 million and profits grow by 65 per cent to £2.8 million for the year to March 2019. With founder Cecile Reinaud having handed the CEO job over to David Williams in order to take a backseat role, her business filed an injunction in September to prevent competitor JoJo Maman Bebe from allegedly copying some of its designs. The claim was vehemently denied by Laura Tenison, CEO of JoJo Maman Bebe.
