Sosandar grows sales in a year of investment

Online fashion business Sosandar has posted sales of £9.027m for the year for March 31st, as compared with £4.440m for the year prior. Pre-tax losses also rose from £3.546m to £7.814m, due, the business says, to investment in its team, supply chain and marketing.

For the first quarter of the current FY, the business has posted a 54 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue whilst reducing its operating costs by 71 per cent. It had also reduced its monthly marketing spend by 85 per cent.

The brand is to launch on both the John Lewis and Next online platforms in order to extend its reach.
