Sun European affiliate agrees sale of Sharps

Sun European Partners, the private investment firm which owns Sharps, has signed a deal to sell the wardrobes business.

Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Bilson, West Midlands, Sharps, which specialises in bedroom and office storage, operates a strong omnichannel model, reaching its customers primarily through digital channels with a complimentary showroom footprint across the UK.

During its ownership, together with the Sharps management team, Sun European made significant operational improvements at the Company. 

Sun European and management continued Sharps’ track record of new product development whilst in parallel, swiftly adapted to changing market dynamics throughout. Together with a structural move towards direct-to-consumer sales and advertising, these improvements enabled Sharp’s consistent growth over the past decade.
