The Cashmere Centre group is a fast growing, lively, multi-brand mail order house with an onsite customer service team. As a Brand Manager you are responsible for delivering a market-leading range to our mail-order and online customers. Through exceptional knowledge of the market, you will build product ranges which will define the brand whilst achieving growth in sales and market share. You will have responsibility for identifying and developing new supplier relationships both in the UK and overseas, in order to optimise profitability. Innovation and an exceptional eye for detail is needed for promoting the product brand through its campaign brochures, online descriptions and photoshoots. You will analyse each seasons sales results to ascertain product and brand profitability to help build and optimise the next seasons range

Responsibilities:

  • Create commercially successful ranges to maximise sales.
  • Analysing the effectiveness of campaigns both by sales and margins and amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with suppliers, both in UK and abroad, negotiating the best terms and price available whilst maintaining the high quality our customers demand.
  • Overseeing catalogue campaigns from the production stage to completion including:
    • Liaising with photographers and designers
    • Organising and overseeing photo shoots, this will involve being physically willing and able to transport shoot stock to photo shoot locations.
    • Writing clear, persuasive, original copy for catalogues leaflets and adverts;
    • Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
    • Working with the web team to assist updating digital media and associated copy
  • Suggesting and testing products in national newspaper adverts and email campaigns.
  • Familiarising themselves with products and, the target audience and their competitors’ activities.
  • Staying current with market trends by visiting trade shows, webinars etc and developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the Directors and designer.
  • Presenting ideas to colleagues and managers.
  • Managing the Brand Coordinator/Assistant to ensure stocks are ordered in time for each seasonal catalogue launch, that regular top up orders are made and that old/discontinued products are sold by way of various customer offers both online and offline.
  • Heavily involved in developing the group marketing plan for both offline and online.
  • Where necessary dealing with and finding a good resolution to customer complaints.

  • Outstanding communication abilities, both in written and word
  • The creative vision to spot potential top selling products
  • Excellent organizational/project management skills
  • Aptitude for effective negotiating
  • Ability to understand data analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • Ability to lead, influence, motivate and develop
  • Enthusiasm and desire to grow an already successful brand.

  • Salary £30,000 – £37,000 depending on experience
