Harvey Nichols re-launches website


International luxury goods retailer Harvey Nichols has
re-launched its website as part of a broader multichannel strategy.

Developed by Ampersand Commerce on the Magento Enterprise
platform, the new site offers a “click and try” service which combines the
convenience of click and collect with personal in-store service which offers
the opportunity to try garments on with optional help from a Style Advisor. The
new site integrates editorial content, social media streams, videos and blog
posts into product pages as well as providing the option of saving products for
purchase at a later date. Live centralised stock information and stock levels
by store location are also supported. A mobile optimised site completes the
delivered project which was overseen by Harvey Nichols multi-channel director
Sandrine Deveaux.
