Multi-national, multichannel retailer Arcadia is replacing
its legacy supply chain systems with components from Manhattan Supply Chain
Commerce Solutions which will integrate with its other enterprise systems.
Arcadia Group operates more than 1,500 stores in the UK,
with 659 franchised stores in 42 international markets, as well as an online
retail operation serving customers in 123 countries and involving some 40
websites supporting multiple languages and currencies. The brand portfolio
includes the likes of Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and BHS. The group’s
growth overseas is accelerating with 161 new store openings planned for the
coming year. Sir Philip Green, owner of Arcadia Group said, “Manhattan’s
solutions will help our team manage the growing supply chain complexity
associated with running a multibrand, multi-channel and increasingly
international operation. They will help ensure our brands’ products continue to
be readily available to our customers throughout the world, no matter how they
choose to shop with us – in store and online.”
