A survey of leading retailers, commissioned by
personalisation provider Peerius, has shown that 88 per cent expect online sales
this Christmas to grow by 20 per cent or more, whilst 25 per cent expect online
sales to grow by 50 per cent or more. The research shows consumers are more
cautious with 66 per cent saying they will spend “the same as last
year” online this Christmas with 16 per cent expecting to spend less than
they did in 2012.
