The BRC-Google Online Retail Monitor report shows that total
retail search volumes grew 15 percent in the second quarter of 2013 compared
with the same period a year earlier. The study also highlighted that search
volumes on tablet devices outpaced those on any other device, increasing 132
percent compared with growth on smartphone devices of 66 percent. Total search
volumes from UK consumers searching overseas retailers increased by 51 percent
in the second quarter compared with the previous year.
