US-based RLJ Entertainment Inc is launching two paid YouTube
channels under its Acorn TV and OnCue brands. Acorn specialises in selling DVDs
of popular British TV programmes such as Midsomer Murders and Foyle’s War to
UK, American and Australian consumers. In addition to its own catalogue and
website, Acorn UK also distributes via major high street retailers, websites
including Amazon and Play.com, wholesale suppliers and other mail order
companies. It also has a presence on Youtube, which will now provide viewers to
access to even more specially-curated content. The full list of paid channels
