Solid sales over festive period at SuperGroup


In the 13 week period to 27 January 2013 SuperGroup, the
owner of Superdry, saw a solid sales performance over the festive period and in
January with total group sales for the quarter rise by 12.3 percent to £115.1
million, while a 14.5 percent increase was seen in the 39 weeks to 27 January
2013 to £273.3 million. SuperGroup’s stores had a good Christmas with
like-for-like sales for the quarter up 10.6 percent and its wholesale sales for
the 13-week period up 5.4 percent on the prior year to £25.3 million.
