Revenues fall at Waterstones

The most recent accounts for bookseller Waterstones show the
company’s revenues fell 14 percent to £410.4 million in the year to April 2012,
while pretax losses widened to £37.3 million from £28.7 million, writes the
Daily Mail. However, the company’s boss James Daunt, who joined in 2011, said
the business was in the black over Christmas after soaring sales of popular
books.
