La Senza, which has previously been in administration (January 2012) when some 80 branches were closed, and was acquired by Marnixheath, is in administration again. The business currently has 55 franchise stores and employs 752 staff in the UK which administrators are continuing to trade in the short term until a buyer is found. Robert Moran of PwC is joint administrator and has said that La Senza had been hit hard by the difficult economic environment and a slowdown in consumer spending. The La Senza stores in Canada are unaffected the administration.
