eBay and Argos have extended their joint initiative in order that some 650 Argos stores can now be nominated as collection points for eBay ordered goods from a larger number of merchants. The initial test with 50 eBay merchants spanned 150 collection points was deemed to be successful and has paved the way for expansion of the scheme which it is expected will roll out as an option for customers of 65,000 merchants by the peak Christmas period. Buyers using the service simply select “Click & Collect at Argos” as their preferred delivery option and then select the store they wish to collect from.
