Vistaprint, which recently opened a London office, has recorded strong growth for year ended June 30th, 2014. The business markets a range of easy to order personalised print products online, including business cards, targeting what it refers to as micro businesses – the self employed and small start ups. It operates via 30 localised websites globally and ships to 130 countries with the UK being its strongest performing EU country.
Annual revenues grew 9 per cent year on year to US $1.270 billion with North America, up by 8.8 per cent and accounting for US $700.2 million. Europe generated sales of US $502.1 million, up from £452.2 million; and Asia-Pacific fell to US $67.95 million from US $70.95 million. Orders from new customers were at 9.7 million, down from the previous year by 7.6 per cent. Average order value stood at US $40.74, an increase of 10.3 per cent and the total order volume was 30.5 million for the year.
