Chinese outdoor wear brand Fraspens Aim float


Outdoor clothing brand Fraspens is planning to float on London’s Aim next month to raise funding for its development plans in its domestic Chinese market. The business which is headed by CEO John Bautista is currently the third largest local outdoor clothing brand in China and the seventh largest when overseas brands are factored in. Competition includes international brands Columbia and North Face, and local brands Toread and Telent.

Fraspens, founded in 2007, designs and wholesales its own brand clothing, footwear and accessories, including tents and backpacks, consumer sales are generated via 580 branded franchised stores. For the year to December 2013 the business posted sales of £39 million.
