MySale, the flash sales site which currently derives most of its sales from Australasia and South East Asia has acquired the majority stake (60 per cent) of Invite to Buy, a Danish flash sales operator. It has been a busy period for Mysale which floated on AIM back in June and has since launched new sites as well as relaunched Cocosa in the UK. A launch of the Mysale site is now being planned for Scandinavia.
Mysale boasts a membership of 12.5 million and an active customer base of 827,000 and achieved sales of £124 million for the year to June 30th 2014. Investors include Sir Philip Green and Mike Ashley who together offer significant opportunities for MySale to develop its business further.
