With ambitious plans to become Europe’s largest pan-european budget online retailer, German business Lesara has announced a Series A US $7 million funding round lead by Luxemburg based Mangrove Capital. The business is headed by Roman Kirsch and was founded in 2013 to offer a range of clothing, footwear, jewellery and homewares at budget prices for customers in Germany, Austria and Luxemburg. Sourcing most of its lines from China and Turkey, Lesara is focusing on own brand ranges and will use the investment to expand its offering to more countries.
