Customers of the Waitrose Cellar service can now opt to collect their orders from over 300 Waitrose branches. Over 1200 wines and champagnes, plus spirits and single bottle gifts are offered and orders placed by 7pm can be collected from the customers’ chosen branch locations from 2pm the following day with no delivery charge.
Rob McCarthy, head of Waitrose Cellar said “With our customers leading such busy lives we are always looking to make delivery easier. Click & Collect is a very popular shopping option and that is set to grow and grow, and over time we’re expecting up to 50 per cent of orders to be for collection from store.
