Online sales at Zara, the fashion chain owned by Spanish group Inditex along with sister brands Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, and Pull & Bear, grew by 42 per cent to reach £442 million according to its latest results. Evan at this level, online is still only accounting for 3 per cent of the group’s overall sales showing that there is strong potential for further growth. The business has appointed Maira Fanjul to lead its online operations which include a relatively new test on the Chinese Tmall site.
