The latest retailer to fall into administration is USC

The latest retailer to fall into administration is USC, which sells designer fashion online and via 58 stores. West Coast Capital, an investment firm owned by Sir Tom Hunter, acquired 43 of the stores out of administration; Hunter was already a backer of USC. According to The Telegraph, this so-called prepack administration “is likely to provoke anger among USC’s suppliers and landlords, many of whom could be left with unpaid bills”.
