Hudson’s Bay Company has agreed to purchase Galeria Holding, the parent company of German department store Kaufhof. Kaufhof operates 103 department stores in Germany plus a further 16 sports stores under the Sportarena name, and 16 Galeria INNO department stores in Belgium, together generating sales of 3.1 bn euro.
