iPostparcels completes million parcel orders


UK Mail group subsidiary ipostparcels as recorded its one millionth order its online platform. the service offers next day collection and delivery serbvices to the UK and to over 160 overseas countries.  Of the achievement, marketing director Ros Hunt said “This is a significant milestone as our ipostparcels services are becoming more popular. The solution is convenient and cost effective, and eliminates the need to queue or to travel to send parcels. Instead drivers will collect. This service is ideal for customers who need to send the odd parcel or for those using online marketplaces to sell products such as eBay sellers or small eCommerce businesses.”

UK Mail is relocating its head office & national hub to a new purpose built facility in Coventry, from Birmingham. The new 187,000 sq.ft. facility incorporates a bespoke automated sortation machine that can handle up to 25,000 parcels an hour. The carrier is offering speical rates in August to celebrate its move.
