Ann Summers posts £3.6m loss

Ann Summers latest filed results, for the year to June 28th 2014, showed a drop in sales to £101 million, down from £115 million for the previous year. The business which operates 141 stores, sells online, via party plan and wholesale also made a full year loss of £3.6 million having invested in store refurbishments and an overhaul of its party plan operation. The business is now focused on a re-platforming of its website and expansion of its international online sales activity as well as closing underperforming stores and seeking new retail sites. and
