A record year reported by Poundworld


Poundworld has reported a 130 per cent  increase in its operating profit,  reaching £14.6 million on like for like sales of £422.3 million,  for the year to 31st March 2015. The retailer opened 38 stores during the year and is planning a further 60 in 2016 as demand in the single price discount sector continues to grow. The business currently services 2 million customers a week.
