Burberry invests in UK manufacturing


News of Burberry’s continued commitment to manufacturing in the UK has been warmly welcomed. The business will invest £50 million as brings its two separate manufacturing facilities which hand make its signature trench coats and  weave the gabardine fabric in,  Castleford and Cross Hills, near to Keighley, to a new combined facility in Leeds’ South Bank which will open in 2019. Around 200 new jobs will be created when the move is complete.
